Day 1 – Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be met by Mysteries of India representative and chauffeur who will escort you to the hotel. The representative will hand over and explain all travel-related documents to you. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Day 2 – Delhi
Checkout from the hotel after breakfast. Today you start your day with sightseeing of Old and New Delhi. See the tomb of Humayun, the Qutab Minar, the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid (Mosque), Chandni Chowk (Moonlight Square) and the surrounding marketplaces, India Gate, and pass the Parliament and President’s Palace. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Day 3 – Delhi – Bharatpur
Checkout from the hotel after breakfast. Drive to Bharatpur (approximately 4-5 hours, 200 km). Bharatpur was established as a royal hunting resort in 1733 AD by Maharaja Suraj Mal. Keoladeo Ghana National Park (KNP), one of the most well-known bird watching locations in the world, is currently located there. Enjoy the remainder of the day. Visit the sanctuary in the afternoon to observe the birds. The routes are traversed on foot or by bicycle rickshaw, and a small boat navigates the marsh canals. Approximately 350 bird species have been observed here, with 150 of them making their way to the refuge via migration routes from Siberia and China. Hundreds of exotic birds nest and roost here before the monsoon season, and construction begins on the park’s “babool” and “Kadam” trees. Overnight at hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 4 – Bharatpur
Morning enjoy the bird watching in the sanctuary. Afternoon either go back to the sanctuary for bird watching or visit the Lohagarh Fort in the city. Overnight at hotel in Bharatpur.
Day 5 – Bharatpur – Ramathra
Checkout from the hotel after breakfast. Drive to Ramathra Fort (approximately 3-4 hours, 150 km). Offering breathtaking views of Kalisim Lake and the surrounding hills and farmland, it is ideally located on a peaceful hilltop between Ranthambore National Park and Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. This place is quite intriguing and unusual because of the small rural hamlets around. The founder, Thakur Bhoj Pal, is the direct descendent of the owner, Mr. Raj Pal, and his family. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon while watching the sunset from the fort’s ramparts. Dinner and overnight at the fort.
Day 6 – Ramathra
A boat ride in Lake Kalisi, a village walk to observe rural Rajasthani life, and the most fascinating is the nighttime game drive through the surrounding buffer of Kaila Devi National Park are some of the activities to partake in while visiting the fort. Visitors frequently spot wolves, jackals, hyenas, blue bulls, a variety of deer, and, with luck, a leopard or wild boar. Dinner and overnight at the fort.
Day 7 – Ramathra – Ranthambhore National Park
Checkout from the fort after breakfast. Drive to Ranthambore National. There are over 400 square kilometers of dry deciduous forest in Ranthambore National Park. The park’s name comes from the Ranthambore stronghold, which was constructed in 944 AD on a rocky ledge in the jungle. The Maharajas of Jaipur once used the woodlands surrounding the fort as their personal hunting grounds. Savor the park’s twilight game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 8 – 9 – In Ranthambhore National Park
Take a game drive in the morning or evening to explore the park. Tiger, sambar, cheetal, nilgai, wild boar, chinkara, langoor, leopard, sloth bear, hyena, and jackal are among the animals listed in the park’s fauna list. Numerous species of amphibians and reptiles exist, such as freshwater crocodiles, monitor lizards, tortoises, pythons, cobras, and other snakes. All meals and overnight at the lodge.
Day 10 – Ranthambhore – Delhi
Morning transfer to the train station to board your train to Delhi. Arrive Delhi and transferred to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 – Departure
Breakfast and checkout from the hotel. You will be transferred to the Delhi airport to board your flight home/onward journey.
