Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo National Park), a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Rajasthan, India, spans 29 sq km of man-made wetlands, marshes, and woodlands. Once a royal duck-hunting reserve, it now protects over 370 bird species, drawing birdwatchers worldwide as a premier avian hotspot. Migratory birds from Siberia, Central Asia, and Europe winter here, creating spectacular flocks amid resident species. It also hosts mammals like deer and nilgai, plus reptiles.
