Tadoba Extension Tour
3 Nights / 4 Days
Trip Highlights
Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (commonly called Tadoba National Park) is one of India’s finest and most underrated tiger parks, located in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, central India.
Established as a reserve in 1935 and declared a Project Tiger reserve in 1995, Tadoba now spans 1,727 sq km of classic dry deciduous forest dominated by giant teak trees, bamboo, ghost trees, and over 40 beautiful lakes and waterholes.
It is famous for having one of the highest tiger densities in India (currently 100+ adult tigers) and some of the most relaxed, human-habituated tigers—making sightings frequent and close. Visitors regularly see tigers walking on park roads in broad daylight.
Species In Focus
Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Sloth Bear, Striped Hyena, Wild Dog (Dhole), Indian Gaur, Jungle Cat, Chausingha (Four-horned Antelope), Honey Badger, and rich central Indian birdlife.
